May 17, 2024 - Decanted and sipped, and then left to breathe for about an hour and a half. Slight amount of fruit up front, though I could get some plums and blueberries, followed by tobacco, mineral, and graphite. Acidity was very high early on, but mellowed out after an hour or so. Not a particularly long finish, but there was eucalyptus, and maybe a little menthol. If I had another bottle, I would decant it and let it breathe for three hours before I started sipping.

March 14, 2024 - On of my favourites if the tasting, this is showing all the qualities of the 2012-vintage. Round, creamy, soft, quite open and sexy, notes of chocolate, spice, even coffee, smoke. Will keep, but the drinking window is open
