At a Charlotte wine bar and found a bottle for $48. Snapped it up a drank it at the bar with Karen. Love this Pinot. Great aroma, cherries forever. Wonderful after taste. Ordered a cheese plate and it was the perfect match.

Had at dinner, Bern's Steakhouse, Tampa with a 28 ounce T-Bone Steak. Such an experience to drink a 54 year old wine. First sip, the wine had a tinny taste and seemed thin. Over the next two hours, it developed flavor and depth. Hard to describe. The wine still had tannins and life remained. With my limited experience with this age of wine, it would not be fair to give a score. A great experience.

Bought this bottle at the winery five years ago. Really enjoyed, silky tannin's, ready to drink, medium complexity, pleasant aftertaste. Wish I had bought a case

Amazing. In a local wine bar and grabbed off the shelf for $38. Young, tight, tannins prominent, medium complexity, 60 sec after taste. My wine deal of the year.

Invited four couples and we cracked open the 3.0l bottle. It was ready to drink, firm tannin's, medium to low complexity, 5-10 sec after taste. A good wine for our large group.

Had at dinner at Barcelona Restaurant, Columbus, OH. Easy drinker, opened fast, minimal complexity, short aftertaste. Easy on the palate with very little tannins. For the price, I was pleased.

First bottle out of a case. Not a typical cdp. Cherry and fig on the nose. So smooth for so young. Nice complexity with a 20 sec after taste. Just an easy drinking smooth blend. Light tannins. I'm interested in the next bottle in a year or so.

Dry Bourdeaux blend. Certainly Italian. Must pair with food and not good stand alone drinker. I can't decide if time will improve this. Not impressed with the complexity or after taste. I have a bunch more so will try again in a year

Ok every day drinker. Sharp and tight in the beginning. Opened up after an hour. Needs time

Opened first bottle of the case, ran thru filter and let sit for 30 min. Excellent aroma, young, tart, strawberry. Strong tannins and this is youthful, will want to wait a couple years for the next bottle. Lots of potential and the after taste lasts for ever. Looking forward to the next one.

Still drinking fine. It did help to have these bottles stored in a cool cellar. Also, you have to like garnacha. My wife won't drink. Definitely at peak.

Wow...way to young. Wait 2-3 years minimum. Strong tannins, cherry, good finish, medium complexity, love the cherry aroma. Will be a 90 later, much later

Had with Spaghetti and meat sauce. Drank well. Just a nice basic Bordeaux. It has mellowed. Nothing really stands out except that I enjoyed drinking it. For what I paid, definetly a winner.

First purchase from Lot18. Pleasant aroma, not over powering. Deep violet color, rich, smokey, strong tanins, after taste 30 secs. Enjoyed. Pleased with purchase. Will hold off for one year until next bottle.

Popped and poured fifteen min later. First impression was young and wish I had waited two more years. Strong tannins with great fruit behind and an after taste that is still with me five minutes later. Like this but must wait a couple years on the next bottle. Gave a 90 but will be much better

From my case, all the positive comments intrigued so much that I finally grabbed one. Decanted 1 hour. First, looking forward to the next 11 over the next decade or so. Very nice, blackberry on the nose, complexity, long lasting after taste, young, strong tannins but not overpowering. Noticable oak but, just enough for me. Had with london broil and made the meal. One of the better Shiraz I have had in a while.

I took a gamble a few years ago and bought three cases of this. Love this wine. Traditional Bordeaux, chaulk, fruit, good complexity, wonderful aftertaste. Really starting to enjoy these. I believe it will be a 91 in future

We have our Garigiste Fall shipment now in hand and decided to give this a try. It is interesting to see the wide range of reviews...either you like it or hate it. We found this easy drinking, nice on the palate, light, very little complexiity, short aftertaste. I think it falls in with the review Rimmerman gave and for the price, I now have no guilt wine for guests.

Popped, poured. Smells of blueberry, blackberry....nice beginning. Sharp but well integrated tannins, some life left and not peaked yet. Like this Rhone, great aftertaste, some heat off the alcohol but manageable.

Blackberries gallore......drank with Karen and its hard to believe this is a cab......tastes like a stong Merlot. Other notes indicate this is ready now and as I have ten bottles, interest got the better of me and grabbed a bottle. IMHO the wine is near peak and I'll let you know in six months. Great aroma, wonderful aftertaste, lots of fruit and looking forward to the next bottle. A fun wine.

A good basic bordeaux. Nothing really outstanding here. Great for company, pizza, spagetti or a good wine and cheese evening. No guilt in opening.

Popped and poured. Aroma in the glass is like burnt tire or maybe that burnt disc brake smell. It does simmer down after a few minutes. First sip is light, quick after taste, blackberry, quite tarty. Not bad...just don't take in the aroma. Don't know how to score this. Not a 90 but, not an 80 either.....

Popped and poured. Very tight iniitially. After 20 minutes, opened up. Wow...love this Chianti. Lots of structure, after taste is wonderful and lasts, cherry, blackberry, one sip fills the mouth. Enjoyed one glass all evening. In five years this will be a 94-95

A nice, everyday Chardonnay. A little mellow, some grapefruit, lemon, faint oak. Should last a year or two. We enjoyed and glad we got the case.
