Guidalberto never really dissapoints in my opinio. Strong quality price ratio. Cassis and black currant - Easy drinking and delicious. Upside potential with a few years of further cellar ageing.

Really delicious MSD. Very nice use of oak giving this wine a very creamy and inviting nose of sunripe forrest berries, strawberries, raspberries and some spices. Good harmony on the palate as well with good acidity and balance. For me the nose was the standout. Simply delicious. Highly recommended.
Perfect to drink now in my opinion.

Delightful Barbaresco - Light, elegant and perfumed. Grippy tannins but surprisingly approachable for a 4 years old Barbaresco. Should be even more wonderful in 5-6 years.
Cogno delivers again.

Impeccable bottle. No damage or leakage on the cork whatsoever.
Great array of fresh and dried flowers, black tea, red fruit and spices are bursting from the glass. On the palate the wine showcased great freshness and integrated tannins. Probably reached perfect drinking window 5 years ago and will continue in this stage for the next 2-4 years.

Echo what other reviews state. Fresh, linear and focused. Great acidity and minerality. Full of energy. Obviously a bit too young. I would give this 2-3 more years. Otherwise open this 1-2 hours before serving.

Very surprised by this wine. Upon opening, the wine showcased beautiful aromas of fresh forrest berries, strawberries, cherry, rhubarb, menthol, and some greenness.
On the palate the wine was fresh and elegant with good structure.
Would buy again.
Will be better in 5 years.

Very enjoyable white Santenay. Tropical fruit and hints of fennel and oak. Clean and crisp acidity to keep it fresh and balanced. Agree with Sared - keep it cool otherwise it becomes a bit too warm on the fruit.
Could benefit from a couple of years of cellaring.

I was very surprised how accesible and delicious this Chassagne is at this stage. Lemon curd, reduction, beautiful use of oak, buttered almonds, slight hints of mushrooms.
On the palate the wine had great mouthwatering acidity, creamy texture and a pretty long aftertaste.
Would definitely buy again!

Still a very young wine but with a lot of tension. Citrus and green apples are the two components that jumps right out of the glass. Followed by very balanced smell of oak and slight reduction.
Very high acidity and vibrancy on the palate.
Keep this 3-5 years more.

Very delicious and new school Meursault. Light, clean and full of finesse.
Citrus, hints of tropical fruit, lemon curd, and hints of oak.
On the palate the wine showcased great minerality and a salty component which was delicious. Big recommendation.
Pays off to give this 30-60 minutes of air.

Extremely delicious Riesling from Kuhling-Gillot.
Typical petroleum, plastic nose with hints of stone fruit, unripe pineapple, citric, and some greenness.
Lingering acidtiy and mouthfeel. Long after taste.
One to keep for a decade or two but already delicious now.
92-93p.

The nose showcased ripe cherries, earth, black tea, some tar, and dried flowers. Quite Barolo on the nose.
On the palate the wine had the same sort of components. The tannins were fully integrated. Medium acidity.
I do not see much upside potential so drink up.

Second time trying this within 12 months or so. Preferred it the first time. The first one was much more fresh and juicy.
This one seemed a bit rustic and awkward. Not a bad people bottle but perhaps the travel overseas (From Denmark to Mexico) has made the wine a bit weird?
However, it was still very enjoyable and it got better after a while with air.
91p for now.

First time trying this producer and I quite liked it. Typical Blanc De Blanc with great finesse and complexity. Long aftertaste and still very youthful and fresh. Pleasantly surprised by this one. One to look for again.

A very young but beautiful Chablis. This wine was decanted 2 hours prior to drinking.
Very clean and pure white fruit, lemon, honeycomb, and pear on the nose with nice use of oak.
On the palate the wine was super refined with great acidity and a chalky finesse. Very high quality. However, it would wait another 10 years to open this if I had one more bottle. It still seemed very youthful and perhaps a bit closed?
92-93p.

Beautiful Morgon entering its drinking window. Cherries, earthy, savory, and coca cola (yes, I know).
Very fresh and vibrant on the palate as well with great acidity.
Worth seeking!

A very rustic and masculine Volnay. A mix of black and red fruit, spices, oak, and some smoke. Quite complex on the nose but also a bit "heavy". On the palate the wine had great acidity but also dense and a bit heavy as well. Probably needs another 5 years.
90-91p.

Beautiful aromas of roses, tar and cherries are bursting from the glass right from the get go. Good tannin structure and acidity on the palate.

This Bussia is entering its drinking window now and will probably peak in 2-3 years in my opinion. I do like my Barolos fresh and somewhat primary still.

After a few hours I felt like the fruit was becoming a bit too ripe/cooked and hence why I think this isn't for the long haul for my taste.

At this point the wine is quite warm. This is definitely a deeper, darker and more dense type of bourgogne out there. I would have liked a bit more freshness and vibrancy. Perhaps it will loose some of its "fat" in the following years? The tannins and acidity is there.
My tasting note is more or less the same as the other CT reviews.
Keep this for another 5 years before drinkning.

Quite approachable upon opening. On the nose the wine showcased ripe applies, tropical fruits, hint of vanilla, almonds and ripe pear. The palate was creamy with rope stone fruits, good acidity and medium to long aftertaste.
I did not sense this wine got better with lots air of. So I would just open this and enjoy right away.
Drink now and the next 4-5 years.

Keep 5+ years.

In a strange place right now. Seemed closed and tight. It did open up after 2-3 hours however it never really opened up. Quite austere and rustic. I did get the same experience with the 2015 a few months back but that opened up glorious after 3 hours. This did not.
I would suggest to wait another 3-5 years.

Hard to tell this is American chardonnay. Everyone guessed old world.
Ripe lime fruits, orchard, lemon curd and bees wax. Incredibly fresh on the palate with good length and complexity. Mouth lingering acidity.

In a sweet spot right now. Cherries, spices, liquorice, dried cranberries, and tar. Did not decant this bottle as it didn't seemed to be needed upon opening it. It was incredible fragrant from the get go. Dusty tannins. Good length.
Drink now and the next 8 years.

First time trying Saint-Aubin from this domaine. Quite rich wine with lemons, apples, wax, minerals, and oak on the nose.
On the palate the wine is quite rich but has level of acidity to keep everything in check. This is a crowd pleaser and I would buy again.
Shared the wine with too many people so I didn't had the time to see how It evolved but my guess would be that It would benefit from some air.

Very enjoyable Solera champagne from Tristan Hyest. Some reduction that blew off after a few minutes in the glass. Oxidative in style with ripe apples, ripe lemons, earth/mushroom, and sherry notes.
On the palate the wine showcased same components with a rich texture, good acidity and a lingering finish. We quite liked this champagne.
Got better with air so I suggest to let this breathe for 30 minutes before serving.

Intense red driven nose with notes of forrest strawberries, cherries, raspberries and other Forrest berries. On the palate the wine is rather dark and complex. This wine should be kept away for the next 5-7 years before enjoying. Great potential.

Had pretty high expectations for this wine considering the other CT reviews. Must say that the expectations were more or less fulfilled. Bright and vibrant red fruit, herbs, and some flowers. Great lively acidity and grippy tannins. Surprisingly I enjoyed it more with little to no air rather than after a few hours of air - it got more deep and "dark". Guess I am more into the vibrant and fresh Sangioveses.
91-92p. Would buy again.

Very interesting wine. The nose showcased fresh red berries and floral. Quite a lot deeper and heavier on the palate. I believe the ABV was around 16.5% which became clear on the aftertaste with a pretty dried almost raisiny aftertaste. Still pretty goof!

I really enjoyed this champagne. As strange as it sounds it really reminded me of a freshly squeezed red apple, carrot and ginger juice. Mostly due to the red apples but I sensed the other components as well. super fresh and vibrant. Not overly complex but just incredibly easy drinking which deserved recognition. Got better with 60 minutes of air in the bottle.

Notes from distant memories.... super fresh and vibrant with all you can ask for from the Nebbiolo grape. On the young side of course but very promising. Gives a glimpse of what Giuseppe M can do with their top wines. Buy again.

I felt like this bottle was somewhat overpriced given the pleasure it gave me. Perhaps too young? perhaps too hyped? I do feel like their entry level wine is quite good price quality ratio, but not this one.
Having said that it was pretty sexy with forrest strawberries, cherries, raspberries, earthy notes and fresh and dried fresh. It did get better with air. Would wait another 3 years if I had one more in my cellar. I will not buy again tho.

Two days in a row with Njord - not bad.
More or less the same notes as the other one. Light and fresh strawberries, rhubarb, flowers and some green notes.
Slightly behind Terrassen 2020 but only slightly. Perhaps let it rest for a year or two?

I had the Bussia 2016 a while ago which I thought were an off bottle due to the green/stemmy character which I did not find attractive at all. a few months later I got this one blind and it had the exact same pronounced nose. So I guess it is the style that just doesn't suit my taste. Having said that, I do see the quality of the wine but I just can't seem to abstract from the stemmy/green notes.
