Maybe it was the vine age, or maybe it was the bottle age, but this was not the Zin I expected. It was full of molasses, dust and baked fruit. Quite good, especially after it got some air, but not your typical Zin, to be sure.

Not your everyday wine. And I don't mean "special occasion." I mean this is a blend of grapes uncommon to most drinkers. Thoroughly enjoyable!

This is the first experience I've had with Leon Millet, and I found it to be both unusual and delicious. Pale orangey red in color. Huge amounts of peach and apple on the nose. The same huge peach and apple on the palate, with a tart cranberry finish. This went beautifully with a maple bourbon pork tenderloin and mashed sweet potatoes!

Pepper, pencil shavings, a little bit of mocha, and alcohol on the nose. Pepper and black cherry on the palate. Medium body. Garnet color. Medium and round tannins. A little bit tart. Fair balance, but a little high alcohol on the nose and a little tart on the palate. Enjoyable. Wants food! #CabernetDay #winescore 4-
