September 5, 2022 - I did not have the opportunity to taste this when younger, but it held up to aging well. Lots of dark fruit and a touch of port-like sweetness.

September 10, 2017 - An unexpected surprise. Agree with review below, aging has really treated this well. A bruiser. Syrah-like phenols on the nose, delicious black currant, with solid backing of oak. No sign of fading.

November 15, 2016 - Wow. Just wow. Glad I let this one sit this long because I've had it earlier and it wasn't as full bodied and complex. This was tremendous. It's rich, complex, smokey, charcoal (in a good way), oak, vanilla, plum, and probably more. Really, has aged amazingly.

May 17, 2016 - Aroma - charred meat, mint, blueberry. Taste - big tannic and would pair well with red meat. Black pepper, undertones off sweet cherry.
