The nose is very barnyard, somewhat of diapers and very funky. This isn't a vibrant wine, seems hot and like the fruit is overripe.

Wine has performed well with cellaring with some bright fruit still remaining. Color is slightly brown but still a dark purple, good flavor of blackberry and jammy dark fruits on the palate with a 30 second plus finish.

The nose on this was fairly closed with dustiness and oak. On the palate this was a monster. Blackberry, rounded jammy flavors that last for in excess of 60 seconds of finish. The fruit is amazing with an initial attack, strong mid palate, and a long incredibly smooth finish. There are hints of oak in the powerful wine, but it is extremely inviting. The tannins are rounded and exquisite, and high alcohol content isn't even noticed. This is extremely good. I'm impressed.

On the nose: stewed fruit, leather, sweet jam like (especially strawberry and blueberry).
On the palate a flavor profile with smooth and rounded tannins, initially filling the palate with strawberry and raspberry fruit and finishing with a strong sense that this wine has structure. That being said the mid-palate is somewhat hollow and while there is power in the finish there is a distinct lack of deliciousness that would put this over the top.

While purchased nearly 7 years ago and laid down in the cellar since this is doing well. The wine brings a lot of subtle fruit nuances on the palate, incorporated well with some good acidity. While not much on the nose - this is a nice wine.

Funky and off-putting nose. Not what was expected from this bottle. Nose felt a bit ugly - full of unpleasant flavors reminiscent of fermenting black fruit. Disjointed on the palate. Double take on whether the bottle was corked. The overwhelming feel was that it was damaged. Finish was amazingly astringent. Most of the score comes from the amazing amount of astringency on the finish - quite simply amazing amount there and an epic feel for what grapes can do to the mouth.

Amazing amounts of dill on the nose and a huge amount of the dill carries through on the palate. While not what what was expected this is a good wine with an interesting overtone flavor of dill. Good marks for the structure that accompanies with oak and backbone that supports the dill.

An earthy wine with a tannic finish. This wine lacks more than it touts and brings a limited amount to the table. While the wine does have a good deal of earthiness it lacks a deliciousness and a is of monotone flavor profile, that somewhat disappoints.

Lots of dark dark berry fruit on the nose. Powerful in its approach this is truly holding its own with more age. On the palate there is a good plum fruit and blackberry and the wine does have a bit of a tannic backbone suggesting it could age further.
