Enjoyable, bright fruit, a little chalk, bell pepper, acidic and dry, a little ethanol on the finish, which lingers with the bright red fruit. Really good QPR.

Opened nicely over several hours, bought from winery after great visit.

Going strong, opened over the evening, impressive.

Better then I remembered, enjoyed with easter dinner after decanting for about 2 hours, was a big hit, and not too old as I feared...

No brett like my first bottle, not much fruit either, but was enjoyed by friends who have not had older bordeaux before, graphite / pencil lead.

Really bright clean red fruit, absolutely delicious, with a bit of spice. Firm tannins, could have aged longer easily but I love the fruit now I have not regrets. Had their 2012 cote du rhone the other day and it was more rustic and savory then this one.

Soft nuanced and lots of depth. Great mouthfeel too, luscious and creamy yet light and dry like strawberry cream.

Rustic but still has some bright candied red fruit notes. Better after some air in the pm, after opening the bottle in the am, using some for caccitore and recorking til dinner.

Lactic acid and acetone with a wisp of sour cherry.

Stewed red fruits with just a hint of brightness, softened by age made for a nice painting with a rib eye steak, with the acidity cutting through without being sharp. Drink now.

This was tasty pinot, nice balance and good fruit, depth, but I didn't remember it being so expensive, and found it more to be the midweek wine it was on consumption rather than the special occasion wine it seems to be in price, for me.

Much better than when I last had it over a decade ago, the fruit came to the fore, nice raspberry, maybe a little on the thin side but more well rounded and little to none of the bell pepper. Dry and not the longest finish but very nice surprise.

A little tight and sour at first. Soft tannins and light bodied. Raspberry came out more over a few hours, it never gained much depth but was a pleasant sipper.

Solid dinner party wine, still had a freshness to the fruit, smooth and softened by time, decent finish.

agree with the other notes on this being huge, rough/rustic, a little brett, super dry tannins, blackberry rather then the red berry flavors I associate (and prefer) with grenache. Not sure this will be better to my taste with time but will hopefully soften some, as it's tough to enjoy on its on as is...

This one was lost in the cellar and was over-the-hill, will a very muted, rustic flavor, only hints of red berries. I guess $10 bottles of granache are not intended to be cellared!

Meh. Tasted of type, just not much of any of the flavors, fruit, game, herbs. Maybe to old, but still had some structure, just no oomph.

This was really nice for my palate, pure brambly and lithe fruit with no bell pepper. Great food wine, and while not the longest finish it's far from vapid. Will buy again for sure. Anyone with a bias towards rustic old world casusally delicious wines will dig this.

This was an enjoyable weekday wine, before/during/after a roast. Served around 55F, through a vinturi, it has nice clean dark black and blue berry fruit with a liveliness from the lighter ("cool climate", SS too?), went well with food. Not much finish though, other than a bit of ethanol heat.

This wine is well past it's prime (it says a much on the label, and was buried in my cellar). Day one was sweet and syrupy grape soda. Day the fruit had faded, and while surprisingly there was a little earthiness and game, it was thin and short.

This definitely took the old mollydooker shake to open but still was tight, with lots of tobacco and cola up front, less but some red fruit, decent acid, moderately long finish. Best with air, probably a few more years left.

Aroma is nice black cherry and mushroom, palate the same but lighter, and some but not much smoke until the finish, which is still not too strong. Overall still pretty solid but thinning and not worth holding.

Really nice bright red cherry fruit, certainly compared to an older CdR we had before, drank casually at bbq and very much enjoyed by all.

This had a real vibrancy 3-4 years ago that has faded, though it's still a tasty CdR, just lacking that floral element as distinctly, with heavier fruit.

Peppery and rich for a cool vintage, well integrated. Ethanol on the nose took a few hours to blow off to some degree....

Last of 4 bottles, it was delicious and still going strong, but drinking beautifully now, so no regrets. Soft tannins, blueberry and tobacco, awesome with bbq brisket, just enough acid to cut through, and still robust enough fruit to stand up to the smoked beef.

This had a rustic barnyard note a first but it mostly blew off after about 45 minutes and revealed blue and red berries, some ethanol, fruit gaining brightness over a couple hours, still tannic. Impressive for the cost and age, great QPR in a great vintage.

The grenache is still bright and flavorful but a well integrated mouthfeel, this has aged well and was fantastic. Fresher than the 2009 Northern Blend I had the next day, both purchased and cellared together.

This is drinking really nice and smooth right now, just enough tannin to hold on, acid as well, red berry sugars. Arguably a bit short, but the fruit and finish that is there is deslih.

This was drinking really nice for the first 2 hours ojr so, it started to get a little sharp and soleventy at the end. But the fruit is bright and well integrated, very soft mouthfeel. Much better the the last bottle I had in 2010, but with the pretty quick degradation, I would think it's probably on the downside - then again I said that 7 years ago!

This is a really rich rose. Loads of glycerin, hood strawberries and cream. The finish is decently long enough to think you can let it run, but sadly this is my last of 2 bottles.

Standard provence rose nose with rose petals, strawberry and slate. However, very little flavor, save for a bit of a generic alcohol aftertaste. Meh.
