The wine is clear, with pale lemon color, and thick legs.
On the nose, the wine is clean, with medium plus primary aroma intensity of sweet ripe white fruits, mango, melon, white peach, tropical fruits, lychee, citrus fruits, lemon, floral, almost perfume like, along with medium secondary aroma intensity of sweet oak spices, vanilla, hints of butter, and medium plus tertiary aroma intensity of horse sweat, dirt, gravel, slightly seductive.
On the palate, the wine is dry, with medium plus acidity, medium plus body, medium plus alcohol, medium plus primary flavor intensity of ripe white fruits, white peach, mango, white spices, medium secondary flavor intensity of oak spices, hints of vanilla, butter, almost like butterscotch candy, or condensed milk.
Finish is long, with fresh and live acidity, vibrant.
The wine is of an outstanding, as it is showing excellent balance between primary, secondary and tertiary charecterisitics, minerality and acidity.
Length is very good, with intense and concentrated fruit, along with great complexity due to its many layers of component, on both aroma and palate.
The wine was expressive and appealing during tasting, however can benefit from further aging, in order to bring more of the tertiary characteristics to front, while keeping sharp and vibrant acidity.
I believe this wine is having the potential of aging and fineness that sometimes can be found in the great wines of Meursault.
