November 9, 2017 - Well rounded, fruity and leathery notes. Bit of a dry cork but not comprised. Great paring with a big steak.

June 30, 2011 - South Africa Flight: Although not my favorite of the night (as it goes better with a meal as it is still powerful and the Cab Franc comes through strongly) this is a well made powerful bordeaux blend. This can still lie for many years. The strength of the Franc comes through. The Cabernet Sauvignon is in the background (almost). I would retry in 2 or 3 years. I don't agree with WS note to drink by 2007.

August 31, 2010 - Popped and poured but reviewed after about an hour.
    Nose:
Strong cedar scents, fruit is in the background with some spice element as well. Nose struck me as a little funky.

On the pallet this has a very big attack with sour cherry flavors predominant that smooths out in the middle and really lingers nicely in a smooth, lingering finish. I think this wine had a few more years to go. Would buy again.

August 28, 2010 - Very lively and still full of energy. Made is a new world style this was very well balanced. Could still use a little time, but drinks well now.
