  July 30, 2017 - Medium yellow, green shimmer --- Nose fresh, cool summer breeze, green aspects, some herbal notes, shy minerality coming through --- Palate cool, fruity, yellow fruit, nice tartness, green banana, some pineapple, some grapefruit, bark, some mint --- Finishes medium long on minerals and tart aspects. This vine is a cool and tart beauty, very nicely defined, it could be two it could be seven years old, anticipate another 5-10 years aging potential, no clue where it is going to, this vine is ageless, captivating and challenging.

  April 19, 2013 - Dry German Riesling (German Wine Society - Washington, DC): On the nose: yellow apple, lemon zinger tea, lime peel and crushed rocks. Plump on the palate, with high acid. The flavors of peach skin, honey, wax and smoke are complex and focused. I pick up some margarita salt and herb notes on the finish.

  February 20, 2012 - Drinking good my last and best bottle. White and yellow fruit and wet rocks. Fresh and tangy with a present limey acid. Great with food
