July 27, 2013 - I was kinda of disappointed with this wine- it was an average Merlot blend that didn't wow me and never really showed well. Definitely a Merlot blend- cherry, chocolate and had the acid -was one dimensional IMHO. Not bad and good deal at $19- but very forgettable. I think I just wanted to like this more than I did.

October 30, 2012 - Nice easy drinking wine. Very juicy red fruits. Plums. Vanilla shortbread cookies. A Little bit of Ribena. Soft juicy palate. Spicy. Earthy.

Subtle spice, herbs, black fruit and fresh cigar on the nose. Flavors of caramel, marionberry, tobacco, currants and dark chocolate streaks throughout. Mouthfeel is liquid caramel with slippery olive oil. Could use a touch more acidity/brightness, but offers some complexity and a medium long finish. -
