    January 28, 2013 - This was pretty bad..hope it was an off bottle, nose was nice mushrooms and strawberry, taste muddled bitter astringent sweet and no balance

    January 29, 2011 - Dried strawberry, cloves, mushrooms on the nose. Tart strawberries, pomegranate, earth, mushroom and forest floor on the palate.

    (Philip Shaw Pinot Noir 08) Ripe nose of dark cherries, raspberry, leather, and plum skin, with toasty vanilla from at least a bit of new French oak. As with a young Burgundy, the palate is a bit more reticent and much less ripe, tending more toward cranberry and green cherries. Moderately long finish. Needs time, maybe three to five years, to open up. 13.8% alcohol. Chilling Out Down Under
