Community Tasting Notes 5

September 30, 2012 - - Crimsom color with medium forming legs. It's somewhat balanced with a light/medium body. Satin-Like texture.

May 22, 2012 - Campy, woodsy aromas dominated the first night which give the bottle I tried from a rather melancholy personality. Overnight, the wine held up well and these aromatics disappeared giving way to more pleasant fruit. Varietally correct smooth mouth feel. Little or no noticeable tannins and some acidity. 14.2% alcohol. Sample for review.

September 8, 2011 - Great tasting wine. Held up well over a few days and actually tasted smoother 5 days later. Deep taste of fruit but not objectionably jammy.

January 31, 2011 - Cherry, strawberry, and tobacco. Lesser notes of leather and spice. Silky mouth feel. Nice with and without food. Excellent QPR.

November 12, 2010 - Deep fruit, tobacco and a hint of spiciness made this an excellent sipping wine. It held up pretty well with red meat.
