July 16, 2022 - Dark color. Blackberry, chocolate, and pepper nose. very very smoooooth! Medium+ palate. Delicious! Long finish! Best LBV EVER! Loved this. It was even better the next day.

July 16, 2022 - Guys' Port Weekend - July 2022; 7/15/2022-7/16/2022 (Boulder Creek, California): Dark purple in color. Chocolate, red fruit, rose petals, and a touch of mint on the nose. Very nice, structured notes of rich boysenberry and sour cherry. Great acidity and a nice long finish.

March 10, 2008 - This wine was okay, not bad, but nothing special.

November 22, 2006 - Used most of this to make cranberry sauce for turkey day and it made a very fine cranberry sauce. I did steal a couple glasses though. This is a very nice LBV. Cherry, and Plums on the nose. Good structure on the palate. The alcohol is well integrated. little to no alcohol on the nose and a nice warm finish. Excellent value with this one.

November 26, 2005 - Unfiltered. Very perfumed nose with almost a hint of furniture polish behind violets. There's a scent in here that reminds me of something, but it's not just furniture polish, and it's really annoying me that I can't place it. Good palate with a lot of structure. Very Good Indeed.
