Community Tasting Notes 2

March 25, 2021 - After hearing the sad news that KaJo Christoffel passed away I needed to open a bottle to pay hommage to that great winemaker!
The Treppchen I like very much as Kabinett, the Auslese lacks a bit complexity, therefore I prefer the Ürzig Würzgarten and Erden Prälat Auslesen.

Nevertheless a lovely aged Auslese but lots of life ahead.

Bye bye KaJo, your spirit lives in your wines which gave a lot of pleasurable moments to me as the remaining bottles in my cellar will.

January 6, 2021 - Another excellent wine from KaJo.
    Diesel/petroleum, ripe citrus and flowers.
Perfectly balanced between the acidity and sugar.
Great wine (albeit perhaps not as complex and deep as the UW) indeed, with plenty of pleasure in the coming years.
    Prost!
