Community Tasting Notes 2

January 25, 2018 - Decanted for 2 hours. Opaque purple/black with a very thin, clear rim. Closely help aromas of black fruit, baker's chocolate and coffee open up with some coaxing. Deep, fresh flavors of black fruit, licorice and smoky dried herbs really flesh out on the palate and lead to a powerful but perfectly balanced, long finish. The back label lists both Peter Rosback and David O'Reilly. This is really showing great for a wine of this age. 92pts. Drink now through 2024.
