March 24, 2013 - Jammy and rich. Redolent of August-ripe blackberries. Sufficient tannins make for nice structure and mouth feel leading to a moderately long finish. While great with pot roast, I think this wine would shine even brighter with grilled or barbecued fare.

May 20, 2011 - Great Friday night pizza wine. Blackberry & black cherry jam, rather 'big' Cali Zin if you like those like I do.

March 14, 2011 - Garnet color. Nose a tad warm, and offers dark fruit, and vanilla spice. Palate follows nose with blackberries and vanilla. Fruit forward. Not quite medium bodied. Angular with short finish. 14.8% abv Tasty, but value not there for me.
