December 11, 2016 - I have been a fan of Peju reserve cabs for years. Drank this in the same evening as a 2002 Peju reserve cab. My notes on the 2004 have been fairly consistent lately. But the 2002 was definitely starting to lack fruit and develop some tertiary aged characteristics that are teaching me that the peak enjoyment window for these wines is probably around 10-12 years, +/-, depending on the vintage and one's personal preference in how aged they enjoy their CA cabs.

December 4, 2016 - Dark fruits, a bit of Rutherford dust, and some mocha hints with nice backbone and tannins than are now softened. Drinking great.
