July 14, 2014 - While having shed some of its youthful fruitiness, this is still a big, forward Sonoma PN with rich, dark red fruit, cola and sassafras, and some earth and black pepper. While not overly short, I was hoping for a longer finish and abit more complexity. Still, a top example of Sonoma PN.

May 15, 2014 - Goodness, this was really beautiful tonight. 2-3 yrs of aging has, to my palate, done this offering wonders. I tried it in its infancy; yes, it was primary and yes, it was massive for PN. It's now the perfect blend of all its great traits: big, bright, red Cali fruit, while actually now mellow enough to exhibit a remarkable amount of elegance. I pulled this from the rack and PnP. Highly enjoyable, very precise, if still a touch linear. Eager to try it on Night Two, fully expecting the same or better.

May 9, 2014 - I am concerned this wine is flattening out. Drink next bottle soon. Not near as good as last bottle.

March 18, 2014 - This wine has come a long way since I drank my last bottle 2+ years ago. It was good then, but wonderful now. It's really grown up. Cherry. Drinking beautifully. Feminine. Smooth and lovely. My daughter said 'elegant'. I'll wait another 2 years to drink my last bottle. I love the fact that patience can be rewarded.

February 21, 2014 - Fantastic wine! Perfectly balanced. Cedar and notes of nutmeg on the nose which follow on the palate, joined by dark chocolate cherry and a hint of blueberry. Tannins are nice, not "bitey." Just a lovely wine.
