August 8, 2022 - I liked this far more than I expected. Never been the greatest fan of White Northern and Southern Rhones but this was so so and delicate. An all enveloping fruit that was a little one dimensional but could forgive that having had one's tongue caressed by it. My favourite Red CNP producer so ought to look out for more of their whites.

August 26, 2015 - Seemed somewhat faded, but the loss of richness actually made it a bit easier to appreciate. Enjoyed with leftover salmon and also seared chicken breast.

September 27, 2014 - This bottle had both feet over the crest heading downhill -- probably 2-3 years beyond its peak drinking window. Still had plenty of honey nectar and apricot grounded in minerals and slate. Too bad I didn't drink it earlier.

August 8, 2014 - Clear 18k gold. A little warmth brings out a powerful nose of slightly musky tropical fruit, overripe apple, and acetone. The palate is full and somewhat oily, very ripe white stone fruit, with just enough tart edge to cut any flabbiness. The finish is very long and sweeter, with a hint of botrytis and a little alcohol. Although this wine was fine with fresh salmon cakes and kugel, it is heavier than I prefer with food. Apparently pretty well balanced for the vintage, but I think hardly the best example of the vineyard.

January 26, 2013 - Lovely golden straw colour.
Caramel on nose. Caramelised lemon marmalade on palate.
Nuanced wine with traces of oak, minerals & spice.
Lovely long lasting nutty finish. Delicious as an aperitif...
