Community Tasting Notes 1

October 28, 2010 - A friend brought me this supreme geek wine from France, along with a Jadot Bojo I didn't care for. This, however, had a beautiful balsam component on the nose following through on the palate and surprised all present at Burgundy Night. Showed well, even among other bottles consumed that night: 2002 Movia "Puro" sparkling rose, 2002 Chandon de Briailles Corton Bressandes Grand Cru, 2003 Louis Jadot Gevrey Chambertin Clos 1er cru "St. Jacques", 2003 Louis Jadot Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru, 1997 Faiveley Nuits St. Georges 1er cru Monopole "Clos de la Marechale".
