April 16, 2022 - Part of a pre easter dinner (after a cristal 07 and before a baron 03). Usually you buy this wine to impress. It’s always a good piece of table small talk to tell that story of „this is the white wine of Yquem …“. Besides that it’s a decent white bdx, not more not less. You can buy white bdx of the same quality for 15% of the price, but you won’t have the nice story to tell. So in the end, you buy the label here. That’s why i stopped buying Ygrec with the 2010 vintage.

December 27, 2020 - Decanted for 1.5 hours before serving. Full body with citrus fruit and honey. Almost like Meursault Chardonnay but not exactly. The complexity is not as apparent but nice drinking. Medium finishing. Best after another hour in the glass
