August 30, 2011 - Aromas of red raspberry, strawberry, and light cherry, with an oaky overtone. Flavors are tart cherry, raspberry, and cigar smoke. The finish is balanced with a hint of leather joining the expanding touch of smoke as it rolls on. Very enjoyable.

July 30, 2011 - Very impressive QPR. Varietally pure, with significant cola notes and cherry flavors. Pleasant, aromatic nose. Would definitely seek out again, particularly at the sub-$20 price point.

December 18, 2010 - Mid-brick/garnet; stemmy PN nose (open-top fermenter?); hints of wood aging; balanced; round, semi-velvety; good finish. Served with veal and light capers sauce.
