July 23, 2020 - Beautiful nose. Bursting fruit flavor, good balance and palate feel. Long finish. Perfect time to drink.

December 17, 2016 - After the Salon and Meursault, I was hoping this btl would be drinking well. Not disappointed. Light color, really deep woodsy, cherry, jammy nose, big palate feel, delicious with Wagu.

January 28, 2012 - 2nd Annual Burgundy Dinner (Dave's House): Popped and poured, followed over the next 3 hours or so. Cork was extracted with no difficulty. Dark garnet in the glass, with a nose of tart red cherries, baking spice, truffle, earth, undergrowth, plums and mint. Over time, and interesting coffee and soy sauce notes emerged. On the palate, many of the same notes are mirrored, showing tastes of tart cherries, plums, spice and earth. Massive finish laced with hints of a lovely sweetness. There is still some tannic structure holding on here that grips a bit on the finish. Acidity is in balance. This was served along side the best mushroom tart I have ever had in my life, although it did prompt some discussion. Tim had made the tart and was boasting about the 9 different types of mushroom used. Patrick then grilled him for the details, to which we learned there was only 6, as 4 of the specimens were agaricus bisporus, just at different stages of its development.

January 27, 2006 - Wonderful burgundy. Lovely nose of damp earth and red fruits. Lots of elegance on impact and strong finish. According to Parker this should be over the hill but nothing can be further from the truth. Drinking exceptionally well and can see it hold longer, but probably won't improve dramatically.
