December 23, 2011 - Compared to their white blend this one is considerably weaker and less interesting. It lacks concentration and depth. What it does have is clean, well made, and drinkable, we just need more of it. I don't think this is one of those wines where all the good stuff was filtered out, as there are some hints of pretty pure Malbec and Cabernet flavor. Has a lightish magenta color. Not much nose, what you get has that high altitude quick hitting fruit with some earthy components. The fruit really lets this one down. There are none of those industrial type off flavors or aromas. Leaves some light tannins with oak and slate or granite on the finish.

July 1, 2011 - Ehh? What do you want for $3? The Aconga white is impressive, but I poured this red down the drain.

December 30, 2010 - For the price ($2.99), how can you complain. Great wine.
