  January 10, 2017 - Third go at this over five years or so. Just weird flavors, completely unbalanced, and totally disjointed. It mellowed a bit overtime but never stopped offending. Reminds me of something you would get at a company party in a lean budget year.

  October 17, 2016 - This bottle seemed extra tannic and the tannins were covering the dark fruit. I don't know if this bottle is in a different place or if there was bottle variation or if the wine is in an awkward state right now, but something just seemed off and disjointed. My wife agreed without me giving her any input to confirm what I was thinking. Had a bottle a while back and it was totally different.

  March 12, 2015 - Rich, concentrated dark flavors. Tannins are pretty much resolved at this point, but the finish retains a bit of a rustic quality. A very enjoyable wine that leans more toward power than elegance.
