Nice red fruit (raspberry, strawberry), nice floral, spice, slight forest, smooth, good acidity. Lingering finish. Really enjoyable. -

January 13, 2013 - RTD. Nose has notes of either overripeness - storage is secure, so maderization highly unlikely. No freshness on the palate either, with lots of developed forest fruits and underbrush, with an layer of dirt. Benefitted from 90 minutes decanting: medium attack, dark red and black fruit flavors over the dirt, short finish. But it held up and is quite a nice drink. Not trying to impress, just willing to please.

August 23, 2012 - Dark and funky. Rustic strawberrys and rasberries. The nose smells of green, reminds me of new zealand pinot noir in a way.
