  May 11, 2014 - Light cranberry/ruby -> light/diffuse ruby rim. Nose of cranberries, beetroot, a little earthiness. Palate presented strawberries, cranberries again and forest floor. Excellent structure & acidity for such a modestly priced pinot; reminiscent of a nice Volnay. There are some light tannins but the amount of sweet fruit more than compensates. Good finish but it's starting to shorten up a bit; drink soon. Is it Burgundy? No, but it is very much a pinot and at a very reasonable price.

  August 1, 2012 - Fruit forward with a bit of a bite. Held its own over the course of three days. Good wine to sip or pair with food.

  February 3, 2012 - Classic Pin-fandel. Fruit forward with viscous texture. High alcohol with a tiny acidic bite. Is it my favorite style of Pinot? No. Did I enjoy it? Yes.
