December 7, 2019 - Good, past best though.
    Colour: light golden
Bouquet: floral honeyed herbal vegetable characters, very developed fruit, some greenness and sweetness
Palate: similar to bouquet, tropical fruit, creamy texture, lanolin, almond, smokey and oaky characters. Dry finish.

July 12, 2012 - bought on a whim for oysters, this wine displays a fragrant and unevolved nose of chenin fruit displaying herbacious apple and passionfruit character. Tight in the mouth but plenty of intensity - this will age well - the mid palate has the ripeness of the vintage and offer requisite weight. Very good.

April 19, 2012 - A lovely golden colour, oak and honey on the nose, quite dense. Lovely balanced taste, would suit any occasion.

March 29, 2012 - Popped and poured. Haven't had this wine for a few vintages so was surprised that I used to like it as this wine was terrible. I hope it was an off-bottle because it seemed dominated by an unpalatable bitter component that rendered the fruit dead. Seemed oaky as well. Yikes. 77 pts.

March 12, 2012 - A softer, low acid Sec from a reliable and trustworthy producer. Lacks the excitement of a Chidaine, or the sheer intensity of a top vintage of Huet, but still delivers plenty of pear and orchard fruits that have been lightly dusted in ginger and minerals, dry but plenty of volume. Very good Vouvray.
