August 13, 2022 - What a legacy wine. Bright color with a mellow body and finish. Non longer a Zin but a very enjoyable red. Fantastic with bbq steak.

May 27, 2011 - Leads off with a very nice nose. The age has given it a bit of depth and it leans quite dark for a zin. By taste, this needs to be handled a bit carefully. It is harsh. Straight out of the bottle or with even a hint of a chill, this is very hard to enjoy. At room temp and after resting for an hour or two, it is still big, but it does come into something close to balance. The fruit is not over ripe, so I wouldn't classify this as a fruit bomb. It is just a good zin with a LOT of alcohol (16.2%).

June 22, 2008 - Dark Wine with chewy texture, a bit of a hint of the alcohol content. Blackberries predominate. Good length of finish.
