May 7, 2024 - This is perhaps one of the best wines to do the food pairing! The gorgeous, rich aroma of jammy black fruits, a hint of leather! A touch rustic in texture with sumptuous amounts of sweet, ripe, spicy dark fruits. A lengthy finish, drinking very well at the moment! But also you can keep it for some time!

February 11, 2024 - Still fresh and a bit green on the palate. Red cherry, red currant, blueberry and blackberry, pencil shavings. I am not sure, whether it will improve further. But it kept the level over 2 days.

February 3, 2024 - For my money drink up. It’s on the wane. I’ve had one corked, plenty of really good ones but also a few with variation including this bottle. Nothing wrong but a bit thin on the attack and no real fruit. Nose was fine.

January 20, 2024 - Blackberries, currants, cedar, tobacco leaf, spice, strawberry and herbs create the nose. The palate is fresh, crisp, crunchy, spicy and a bit tart, with an olive and leafy, peppery endnote. It’s time to drink over the next few years. Drink from 2024-2030.

10/4/2004 (link)(d'Issan) This had such incredible elegance and weightlessness I thought blind it might be Margaux or Palmer. What gave it away that it wasn't was that it had the ever so slightest bit of heat in the finish. Still this was awesome. Nose of green peppercorn, high-toned florals, cardamon, incense, red berries, boysenberry. Very aromatic. Almost perfumed. Cascade of red and black fruits and incredible elegance and delineation. Does not finish just dissipates.
