February 20, 2024 - Had this 10-yrs ago if memory serves me right... Definitely in the right spot where I like it very much. Highly-perfumed, with spice & a bit of sous bois. Elegant, svelte on the entry with nice red-fruit weight that provided layers of pleasure. Delicious!

September 12, 2022 - 200 Burgundy Grand Crus from vintage 2000, 4-day blind tasting (Singapore): Elegant, precise, long, classic, very good and very aromatic, good fruit sweetness as well, cola on the finish. Very fine, very precise. The Drouhin flight was really excellent across the board.

September 25, 2020 - Agree with Jeff's comment - perfectly solid, and an exemplary 2000.

June 20, 2020 - A solid performance. Not particularly flamboyant, and of modest range, but well structured. All of the pieces fit.

April 14, 2018 - Second Drouhin Musigny in the past couple weeks that delivers an expectations miss. A bit reticent bouquet, and then depth/density of fruit that does not befit a grand cru. Both the acidity and lingering tannins aren’t complementary but rather competing with the fruit, and maybe winning. Good enough to finish but on the same night as an 82 Prieure Lichine, it did not distinguish itself...at only 5x the price

Rockss and Fruit

(Drouhin Musigny) This was the 2nd bottle in the past month and this one was far superior to the one had last. Just a very seductive texture with with gorgeous pure sappy fruit. Like spider silk on the palate with great grip. Utterly seductive Burg.

(Drouhin Musigny) This was just a great sappy Burg that is drinking great today but will probably get more aromatically interesting in two to three years. Some true burg funk on the nose with an array of red fruits. Silky, seamless and ripe on the palate with sappy fruit and sweet tannins. They were soft but present and the acidity was nice. A nice wine that reflects the vintage. Not perfect precision and clarity but shows what you can do from great terroir in an ok vintage. Just very Musigny.
