  August 9, 2014 - This wine has aged well. It is plummy and has good body and nose. It could be even better with another year or two but we are enjoying it with flank steak right now and rate it highly.

  This is good but followed something worthy of being called the new house red, '09 Sika Merlot.
  
  Woody and plummy flavors and aromas, juicy mid-palate and slightly lacking in the finish. Good.

  December 26, 2010 - Dry currant, blackberry, and a little green on the front end. There 3 levels of tasting with wine, the front-end, mid-palate and the finish. This wine had a great front-end, easily an A. But lacked a defined mid-palate and had no finish. So it's a C+ at best.
