March 1, 2011 - I like Peter Lehman wines because it always produce value wines especially the Art or pictures series, the Clancy's and the Layers series. But obviously this Shiraz Grenache is a disappointment. Made from a blend of 57% Shiraz and 43% Grenache, this medium bodied wines showed deep cherry red. Pretty subtle on the nose, not much fruits but some alcohol and spiciness. Some dark cherry and black berry on palate. Medium finish and soft tannins.
