March 15, 2023 - Spouse declared this wine to be divine. The wine is beautiful retaining berry fruit and well balanced with soft tannins. We paired with lamb chops and our guests also declared this wine to be excellent. We wish we had another from this vintage left.

December 18, 2017 - Coravin pour. Seems to be at or near peak -- plenty of secondaries surrounding the fruit, and everything in great balance. Fleshy wild berry, roasted plum, sour cherry, tilled soil and smooth rocks. Beautiful long, prickly finish. True to the Epoch formula of intense Paso fruit and elegant structure that keeps me coming back. 93+, outstanding.

November 10, 2017 - Not sure I agree with the double 93 by WS and IWC. The wine is too extracted and the alcohol too big to warrant such score. Nonetheless it is more than a dense fruit bomb; it has some class with beautiful layers of black, blue and red fruits. Smooth (plus alcohol). A meal in itself.
