March 7, 2022 - Medium garnett with the edges becoming clear. Medium intensity developed aromas of Asian spice, cherry, raspberry, violet, vanilla, nutmeg, toasted wood, with a hint of chocolate and tar.

Dry wine with medium plus tannins, high alcohol, medium body and acidity. Medium intensity flavors of violet, cherry, raspberry, blackberry, spice, nutmeg, vanilla, chocolate, toasted wood. This wine has a medium plus finish and is a very good wine that should be drunk now and may improve with age. Drink till 2027.

April 6, 2019 - It is on its peak now! Round, deep, balanced, with a strong character but in no way harsh. Exellent pure Malbec for a reasonable price! Best drinking window probably between 7-14 years after harvest.

December 19, 2011 - Nice uncomplicated Malbec that gives you a decent fruit on the nose and palate. Dark fruits, some wood, and not much else. Finish is short but enjoyable. You could do much worse for the price.

November 29, 2011 - This is a Malbec done in a more restrained style. Balance is nice and the fruit is dark, full, and pure without being "overcooked". The only knock I can find on this wine is its lack of excitement. Easy to drink and varietally correct. This wine gained complexity on day two. Good value @ $20.

September 15, 2011 - Enjoyed over two days- a little funk on the open with fruit undertones and very dry.The quality is apparent. Day 2 (22 hrs later) vacu stored. Wine is" singing" good structure, solid dark fruit, violets and chewy tannins. Great Value!
