March 12, 2021 - PNP into Schott Zwiesel Burgundy glass (“Flower” day): Pale bright ruby to the eyes.

Ruby cherries in a subtle way. Dried leaves. Hints of animale. Well integrated oak.

Minerality driven (which sets this apart), less about fruits in a nice way. More about depth than complexity at this stage.

93-94 points now. Still needs time to unfold.

January 23, 2020 - Remarkably fresh and juvenile. It is plush and velvety with great depth and breadth and excellent detail. It fills the mouth with flavour and possesses plenty of structural chew. It is very long and crying out for more cellar time.

March 20, 2015 - Lioco and Sonoma Coast Tasting (House of Nanda - Chicago IL): Tasted double blind in flight of 2009s, all others Sonoma Coast. Way too young to fully appreciate, but still drinking great tonight. Slightly floral, still showing some pronounced new oak, intense red berry throughout. Ripe and very dense. Very good.
