  February 8, 2012 - Popped and poured, consumed over 3 hours. Nose: Medium expressiveness cotton candy, cherry smartie candy, and cherry cola. Palate: Medium bodied, red fruit and spice up front, turns thin through the mid-palate, spicy back-end. Finish: Medium length sense of spicy red fruit. Decent wine, but unexciting.

  March 5, 2011 - Medium dark color with some translucence -- great nose of earth, cherry, and spice. This wine was surprisingly Burgundian, especially for the ABV and location (RRV). I would have thought this was Sonoma Coast, as it was cool in the mouth. Very smooth finish with a nice acidity -- food friendly, but just enough fruit to be a sipper for a Pinot lover.
