February 8, 2009 - Uncorked and given an hour of air before dinner. Medium ruby red with a little cloudiness. Rich nose of red and black fruits. Great acidity for the vintage and a full body featuring black cherry, raspberry and spice. Smooth texture and languid finish.

December 25, 2008 - I have to think this bottle was flawed in some way. The nose showed dark berry fruit and clove, but in the mouth there was nothing. Flat and grapey. Possibly heat damaged, but it didn't show stewed or prune notes?

December 25, 2007 - This has matured nicely - intense nose of dark cherry, cinnamon and clove. Intense flavors on the palate, closer to full-bodied, concentrated fruits, beautiful wine drinking well now with short decant.
