June 12, 2021 - Decanted for 1 hour and consumed over the next 2. Very good "regular" Brunello, seemingly in its prime at 15 but should have at least a few years of life ahead. Good aromatics, well structured, lovely fruit, good balance and a nice finish. Nothing out of proportion. Castiglion del Bosco is doing good things consistently. Though this wasn't quite as impressive as a recently sampled Campo del Drago, this was very pleasing with dinner.
