April 27, 2019 - This one is definitely past prime. Is it ready to dump down the sink? Umm...it's Marcassin, so NO!! This wine had an herbal, rosemary and oregano hint to the aged peach blossom, Asian pear, and coriander notes on both the nose and palate. Finished with a faint butterscotch but a lot of the character of the wine was more mineral driven. Neat wine to enjoy!

May 20, 2016 - Deep yellow/gold. Beautiful intense ripe Chardonnay nose with a bit of sulphur. I thought Domaine LeFlaive.

The nose was in the secondary stages, hints of chicken stock, apricot and lemon. Delicious and rich to drink and a long rich finish.

October 6, 2007 - 10/07 Earthen nose - subdued fruit - heavy-bodied with smooth silky viscosity - complex long-lasting structured powerful rough oak finish - off-balanced - probably needs another 5 years to let the tannins resolve - unique qualitites. 90 pts.
