July 11, 2020 - Drinking nicely at this point. Still a bit out of balance with dark-ish fruit dominating. Juicy, big and without much VR specificity. All in all, still quite enjoyable.

July 17, 2019 - Very expressive wine. Flowers, lush fruits and some spices. Almost sensual. I guess its the vintage and also the characteristics of the terroir from V. Romanee. For me this wine was a bit too much, not to say a pinot from california or oregon but there are some minute similarities. I recommend it if you are planning to have a sexy night with class haha

June 26, 2019 - Fine, long, plummy aromas and flavours. Elegant without great power. A good village V-R. Drinking nicely and will do so for perhaps a decade.

January 25, 2019 - Cellared well since release. Expressive on open while still cellar temp. Decanted for one hour. Red fruit and a bit of earth on nose. Really beautiful aromatics. Wine is unfined, so quite cloudy. Well balanced, just a slightly tart finish. But still very pleasant and enjoyable.
