May 30, 2010 - 32nd Annual Zinfandel Retrospective - the 2000s (Rich & Dana's): Dusty garnet color. Aromas of leather, licorice, dried fruit, prunes and floral tones. Flavors of dark fruit and currants, with obvious acidity.

April 5, 2010 - Dark violet, no bricking; fairly closed on nose, faint notes of bramble; very tight; bitter cherry flavors; after 30+ mins. started to soften and yield darker fruit flavor, never sweet, nor tired; rather more rustic than polished; clean medium-long finish with still a hint of dry tannins. More than just serviceable, and not burned out yet; but not fleshy.

March 27, 2010 - A bit dull/flat tasting. Notes of tobacco and, maybe blackberries. Past its prime, I'm sure.
