January 21, 2024 - very very good - but preferred the 2000 Pichon Lalande to this. Def more new world, more dense and layered and fruit forward; full bodied a bit more monolithic than the Pichon but far from being simplistic; good finish and in a good drinking window. a very very good new world refined cab blend

January 20, 2024 - Decanted for approx an hour, though I got a sip and taste prior to decanting. Slight funk on the nose but blew off after decanting. Tannins are fairly resolved, but still have good backbone. Fruit forward but good acid balance. Secondary notes of graphite and cigar box slowly emerged toward the end. 2 more bottles and I’m going to hold off as long as I can.

October 1, 2023 - Decanted for 3 hours. Deep purple color, big bouquet of dark fruit, earth and spice the wine is drinking beautifully, very smooth. Tannins fully resolved excellent.

August 12, 2023 - This is terrific. Smooth with telling acidity and, unlike many California Cabernet dominated wines neither jammy nor over the top notwithstanding an alcohol level of 15 per cent. In a sweet spot now which may continue for some time to come. I loved it!
