August 8, 2023 - Thin and lacking depth / complexity. Also a bit on the acidic side.

June 18, 2023 - Either not a perfectly transported bottle, or a much riper bottle than previously tasted.

November 30, 2022 - Very subdued after opening and didn’t seem to improve in bouquet after 90 minutes of decanting. Though it didn’t impress in nose it surely knocked my socks off in elegance. Very impressive. I am glad I have one more bottle left to savor in a few years

June 3, 2022 - This is fiercely tannic when first opened and not particularly open, but air has a miraculous effect on it, and by hour 2 it is hugely, room-fillingly aromatic, with the whole peacocks tail of mixed red/dark fruit, forest floor, flowers, game…it’s a 10/10 grand cru quality bouquet. The tannins never quite shed on the palate and I wonder whether this is just starting to dry out, but it’s superb right now and punches way above its weight.

March 11, 2022 - La Paulée de New York - The Verticals (Eventi Hotel - New York NY): Walk around tasting vertical. Also still firm, but much more accessible than 2010 (surprising / rare), with lots of ripe, fleshy, dense fruit start-to-finish. Better from 2029.
