April 1, 2014 - Brilliant green yellow. Characterful aromas of lemon citrus, green melon, pears, yellow apples, white flowers, and oak vanillin. This is crisp and complex with good focus, precision, and clarity. Tight minerality and zippy acidity lift the bright, juicy finish. Excellent with food.

January 23, 2014 - AuZone AGM (AuZone, Stockholm): Nose with yellow apple, some yellow plum, some citrus, a hint of honey, and a well integrated oak barrel note. Palate with citrus, yellow apple, mineral, good concentration, high acidity and aftertaste with citrus and mineral. Definitely good acidity and mineral for a 2009. Young, 91(+) p
Although Olivier Leflaive is a good producer, this wine is definitely better than I had expected from a village-level Meursault, and it shows the advantage of the ripe vintage (good concentration and deep fruit) and seems to have avoided its typical disadvantages (a bit less of acidity, freshness, minerality and balance)!

November 15, 2013 - Green-tinted gold. Oak, toasted butter, cabbage and greengage. Fat and viscous in the mouth, good oak integration, greengage flavours. Well balanced, good finish. Just slightly nondescript. It was served slightly too cold and I'm not sure if it was the temperature or just youth but it showed a bit one-dimensional. And it lacks the acidic bite like so many 09's. Let's give it the benefit of the doubt and wait another 4-5 years before final judgment.

September 8, 2013 - Sitrongul. Medium intensitet med aroma av modne gule epler, mineraler, sitrus/grapefrukt, pære og litt eik. Medium syre, medium kropp, medium+ konsentrasjon. Medium lengde.

March 11, 2013 - Straw colour, bordering on light yellow.

Oak dominates the nose initially, with aromas of vanilla and oats, but with grapefruit, lemon and peach arising with time.
Pretty similar palate too. Pretty broad flavours and the texture is a bit fat, but it's all very enjoyable, if a little decadent. A Chardonnay to enjoy with a creamy dish or cheese!
