January 6, 2017 - The first white Burgundy of the day following a fairly fresh bubble, we found this Puligny to be a bit light, but vibrant. Seductive yellow on the eye...almost sparkling with a green hue. Nose, initially, very tight so the sommelier decanted and we were ready to rock shortly after finishing our bubble. Fresh, vivacious lemon/lime and every citrus fruit fine :-). A hint of toasted nuttiness, but the oak never really jumped out. Very pleasant on the palate, albeit a bit thin. A nice start on a 3 bottle Chardonnay lunch.
