May 1, 2016 - Decanted 1/2 hour. Great nose of black currant, menthol, tobacco, spicy oak, vanilla, and sour cherry. On the palate, dense with red and black currants, hints of tobacco, black cherry, and spicy oak. Long balanced finish. The tannins have subsided considerably over the last year. Just now entering its drinking window and should continue to improve. Drink or hold.
