September 15, 2021 - Light, but strong. Clove and banana, really good.

May 22, 2016 - Victory Brewing Co. makes some excellent beer. It undertakes ambitious projects to make European style beers of different kinds. I particularly like its Gose (go-zuh). But I didn't care for this one. It wasn't old because the freshness date says enjoy by August 14, 2017. 9.5%, which is high but normal for a tripel.

March 7, 2014 - A Belgian style tripel ale. 9.5% ABV. Drunk from a 12 ounce brown bottle, so color is unknown. very full, slight light hops - I like light hops and no more - with caramel, spices like allspice. creamy and a bit sweet. Very deep flavor that fills the mouth. Fundamentally different than the laser sharpness of an IPA. I really like this beer.

February 10, 2011 - Tastings at Red Rock: USA Craft Beers (Swampscott, MA): From 12 oz. bottle. Darker straw in the glass. Malt is evident on the nose, but the palate shows wonderful complexity with starch, bright citrus fruit, Chinese 5 spice, banana, caramel, and slight alcohol heat.
