  November 6, 2011 - Classic Cali Chardonnay; oak and butter significant, but not overwhelming the pretty fruit, which shines through on nose, palate and finish. Nice overall balance, and a hit of the dinner party.

  October 8, 2011 - We really enjoyed this wine. Fairly classic Chardonnay profile with a touch of an influence from the oak and malolactic fermentation but it's not over the top with either of those elements. For $20, this was a pretty good deal.

  March 3, 2011 - Another California estate that seemingly has turned the corner away from big time oak. No huge butter in this wine, no dense vanilla, just a very nice pure chardonnay flavor with I'm sure a restrained touch of wood.. Beautiful balance, great impression, but that said, perhaps more apertif, and a very good one, than complex food wine. You be the judge. My thought is that you could pay a lot more for a California chard and get less = but my preference is I'll take a pass on the butter, spicy wood, vanilla overkill and go for this.
